William Hu was acquitted on the charge of conspiracy to commit murder because they were not technically able to determine how savannah died. Hu had also been charged with same counts that brooke, pleaded guilty too. The prosecution though, wanted to be sure that they could obviously get this guyde put away for a long time. So in order to do so, they wanted to have him labelled a dangerous offender based on his past criminal record. He got re-sentenced and served 7 years plus one year consecutively which he got redit for. This man is going to walk around less than 20 years in prison? Ye we hope everyone in prison knows what he did!
