Movie Review - Gene Del Main, Eternal Daughter
I think I've been turned off honestly from a lot of these lists in the past because they haven't felt like they speak to me. One of the things that's interesting about the list is that it's also marking a change. There are ways in which they could have gone for diversity, but still gone for things that are like very like if Malcolm X is on TV on a Saturday, you're going to watch it. And what's interesting to me about Gene Del Main is a step further into cinema that is not necessarily as interested in conventional entertainment formats.
