Is the State a Threat?
The state collects data and then hands it over to private parties for processing who are made be India or abroad. Digitization has reduced the cost of collecting this data to almost nothing. If there is no legal mechanism to prevent you from directly going and collecting data from individuals, I mean that's the controversy that we are actually living through here in Bangalore.
