The Birdie Sat for Vows
Bantai has made that vision of the vast canopy a bit more something that we could almost touch into as an ongoing possibility, a lived reality. Hearing the sound of the Dharma resonating through our names is like looking up into that canopy. Through our names we recognize each other as forming the warp and the weave of the canopy. We feel how we interlink and how we support the vision between us. That our commitment to the birdie sat for vows is made obvious. Relieving the suffering the world is an endless task but relating to each other gives us an immediate sense of what we are engaged with.
