The Future of Growth Explosions
Before the industrial revolution, you didn't have two or 3% growth. You had declining economies for longer periods of time. So given that there was a transformative growth event a few hundred years ago, at that point you really are thinking on a scale where you should open yourself up to the possibility of another one. But that's very rare. There are very, very few people who are working on growth projections on that kind of time scale.
