Two years ago, you could travel to most cities around the world, and these electric scooters were pretty much nonexistent. Now they are proliferating faster than you can imagine. In paris, for example, or washington d c, more than ten % of parisians now use scooters on a regular basis. The behaviour shift has been really visible. And this is why the kind of unregulated approach, which we might champion, because it might lead, as he said, to a lot of innovation, has lots of problems.
