i just uarned 50 this year, if you can believe that. And i would be considered part of the genex generation. I grew up mormon and found that religion was something that did not work for me. It was something that actually made my life much more miserable. But there is a lot of need for people to have a kind of moral framework,. If you will, to view life through that doesn't have all the abuses that go along with it in traditional relgions such as Mormonism. So for me, i look at stoicism as deftily fulfilling a lot of these needs.
