The Angel of the Lord Rescued Peter From the Hand of Herat
chapter 12 tells of further persecution of the church at the hands of herod. Herat kills james, the brother of john, with the sordid and seeing that this action pleases the jews, he proceeds to arreste pete. Both rome man leaders seem to rule in large part by crowd, rather than out for justice. There is a further herod later on in the book of acts, herod agrippa the second,. who is the son of this agrippa, paul will speak before him lateron in the book.
