Julian's 16th Vision

Sally Kohn: Julian of Norwich wrote confidently and authoritatively about religion when that really wasn't considered to be women's domain. She says she did it for ordinary people, not only for her own religious circle. The Protestant Reformation began about 100 years after her death; England split away from the Catholic Church. Kohn: Her life has become a symbol of comfort and hope in the centuries since she lived.
