How I Learned to Make Textiles

Sally Kohn: How did you get into the textile arts, not just studying it, but doing it yourself? Kohn: I was reading about people like Faith Ringgold and G-Spin Quilters. And that got me thinking about my own grandmother and great grandmother who quilted as well. She says she wanted to understand in a tangible experiential way what it was to make textiles.
