Love doesn't always mean perfect honeymoon, lovey, dovey expressions of devotion. Love means wanting the best for the person you're given to. The prophet says if you cannot work with love, but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and take arms of those who work with joy. As Gubran says, all work is empty, save when there is love.
