The Fed's Influence on the Bond Market
Even the euro zone has to be mindful what the Fed is doing. The Bundesbank was easing so the monetary leader in Europe was going the opposite direction. So they traded as bad as the US dollar bond market and in some places like Italy they traded worse than the US bond market. It's interesting in the bond market how influential the dollar has remained.
