An investment policy statement is a list of what you're going to do no matter what happens. The first one is to decide a based on the goal, what is the mix between u stocks and bonds? And then within that, can i decide, how much do i want to have in us companies,. Companies, internationally developed and maybe emerging markets. How much do i wants to have in smaller companies, and how much do wan to have large so it's a very clear delineation.
