The Rebellious Act of Sneaking Out

My boyfriend and I met up at an elementary school one night. We were sitting on the edge of a field looking at stars when we heard gravel coming from the school. A man with his bike was walking towards us but didn't seem to notice us. After he reached the basketball court he just stared out at it for maybe a minute or so. The only way to leave without being extremely visible is to take the path into the townhouse complex. Two nights ago my dog kept me awake between 11 and 3am by mumbling, low mumbling or whispering. He's never done this before; they gave me a gut feeling that something bad was going to happen.
