The Bible is not afraid of talking about David's sexual exploits. And what it's that level of depth that makes some people go, maybe they were gay. Maybe this is actually some kind of romantic thing because we just can't really picture a same sex friendship that's that thick and that deep or that strong. It doesn't somehow have sexuality at the center of it.
