Stefan Rollnick 'Using behavioural science to fight misinformation'
The New Abnormal
The Narrative Landscape of Social Media
The Wall of Police Framework was developed by behavioral scientists at the government communication service. It gives communicators a concrete practical, usable framework for understanding what do I need to respond to and how. The answers to those questions help us to inform our strategy that we put together to support our clients in fighting the misinquiry rather than worrying about necessarily convincing people towards pro-social behaviors. For example, during COVID-19, Sean would have been able to walk into any cafe or restaurant and every other table could be taped over with sceptics' views on the vaccine. This is because social distancing means you can still observe this information but it's unlikely to cause immediate harm.
