Addiction and Love Are Very Similar

Study shows that addiction and love are actually very, very similar. Something that is addictive activates the same parts of our brains that love does. Your brain gets activated to receive a reward and you don't get it. And what ends up happening is withdrawal. So your brain sends out all these messages of like, oh my gosh, we're going to get this reward. We've seen this person that's like a hit or it's a rush of some grudge. But we don't have access to them anymore. They're not ours."
