The Long Snapper

An NFL team is only allowed to have 48 players on its game day roster. The long snapper will be on the field for maybe just eight plays a game out of an average of nearly 80 total plays run by his team. "The downside is so high, that you're going to invest a player position in that," says Victor Mathison.
