The Difference Between a Dula and a Birth Keeper

A dulla comes from the greek word dulo or dulios, which means a slave woman. A birth keeper is someone that holds true what women go through when they're pregnant and post pardem in enduring the ceremony of actually giving birth. The difference between a dulla and a midwife would be, a midwife is someone that is medically trained to watch a woman as she burks. Rather, a dulla is someone that has no medical training at all. And i feel like a step above that, not above really, but a different way of looking at birth, is a birth keeper. So that could be someone that's there for you throughout your whole pregnancy,
