France makes 35% of Rosé and is the world's leading producer. Exports have increased by nearly 500% in the past 15 years. It has been traditionally marketed as an alcoholic drink for women. The ancient Greeks drank a version of Rosé because they didn't macerate their grape vines. Brad Pitt and Angina Jolie famously co-owned a vineyard together. Kylie Minogue has released her own line of Rosé's. But those who dismiss Rosé as a mere fad are misguided. We spoke to experts at Berry Brothers, Britain's oldest wine retailer.
