In 19 forty five, iva is arrested in japan and driven straight to an american base in yokohama for questioning. She learns that her parents were forced into an interment camp by the us Government. While detained there, her mother passed away. The hope that she would one day be reunited with her parents had been her north star throughout the war. That hope is now dashed. And soon iva will be arrested in Jena again, and this time she will be extradited toAmerica to stand trial.
