How to Respond to Anger Out Bursts

Two of the things that I see the most frequently when it comes to big emotions right now are big out bursts of anger, and temper tantrums and just losing it. The second one is like the panic attack and just shutting down completely. So it's like these two extremes that we're seeing with our kids a lot and parents don't know how to respond to that. First, first I would say take a breath, just kind of reset and anchor your own nervous system into some bit of safety,. recognize this is maybe not about you. This is about something that's going on with them.
