Work With the Homeless, Yeah, Yeah

Liz: The therapist was privileging the story of the mothers who had had their children removed. And I also enjoyed his use of disenfranchised grief, which is appropriate for working with this particular client group. Liz: This took me back to colleagues who were working in youth outreach teams and how they'd go and find the homeless kids in the inner city areas before they could actually get them into some sort of therapeutic space.
