The Importance of Observing

I'm a lot more understanding of like some human being was going through this intense pressure when they did this thing that is now hard to maintain. I'm a lot better at empathizing with the existing culture or why things are being done. But, but I still feel like I will tear stuff out without understanding why it's there. At an early job, I spent like two weeks fixing all these JavaScript formatting issues. It was just like one person on the team used tabs and then the other people used spaces. So there were like tabs mixed in with all our father.
