Is There Anything That Can Replace Arm?
i don't see anything else on the horizon that can actually really replace a arm and and the risk architecture. From the academic side of things, it depends how much arm is the point of integration. If they are just a component that ships in phones, and the real value is created. Then most of that value accrues to the phone manufacture - which is why apple is worth over half a trillion dollars. But to the extent that arm actually has ecosystem lock in ad and commands a lot of value for doing that,. That explains why they, you know, command so much less of the value then you have it.
