The Republicans' Weaponization of the Federal Government

The John Durham Special Counsel investigation is yet another example of abusing the powers of the Department of Justice for political purposes according to an expose in the New York Times. A select subcommittee was created by the Republicans just for this Congress that is purportedly designed to address what they believe to be the weaponization of the federal government against conservative voices. I personally call it the committee to obstruct justice because I think the principle design of that committee is to interfere with ongoing investigations, criminal investigations and now as we see at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.
