James had a crude metal workshop in Yerba Buena Cove, which is in San Francisco. They expanded it into a bigger blacksmith tent and built a furnace out of an old smokes tack that they took from an abandoned steam ship. Now there's a lot of fires in San Francisco because it's a windy place.
