The Amygdala Problem
When we see something new, the amygdala freaks out. And almost a lot of our work today is how do you solve that amygdala problem? Because when people first see you on the autonomous car, they freak out and go, oh my God, that car might kill somebody. We have very clear evidence that a Tesla driving autonomously saves way more accidents and lives than a human being driving those same miles. That's astonishing. But at any given point, be really focused about what you're trying to build and whatyou're trying to achieve.
