The Survival of Papers, Right?

Many of the documents that we have were donated by families, right? People don't want to be known as the people who killed a bunch of innocent people. But at the same time, the survival of papers can be difficult as well just from the passage of time. I do a lot of work in the Livingston family papers which are huge but you see a lot of survival of their account books.
