The Limits of Heat Pump Technology
For the Americans, that would be 140 degrees centigrade. You can pretty much buy it off the shelf, maybe even up to 160 degrees. In Japan, they have a project now running that says 200 degrees should be the limit. Some experts tell me maybe even 300, but then we don't have good enough lubricants for that. Beyond 200, I don't know any solution that runs there.
