Wes Craven's Last House on the Left was one of 39 horror films successfully prosecuted and banned in 1984. The UK version is a lot more complicated that it was refused to release, you know, originally when the film came out. It got caught up in the whole video nasty thing and got banned in the UK. And it actually made it quite difficult for Wes Craven to even make a follow-up film,. I think, for a long time?
