Pharaoh's Practice of Injustice
In order to understand transformative justice from below, I think we have to walk through the narrative of injustice that features Pharaoh. There's a good reason we don't know Pharaoh's name because if you've seen one Pharaoh, you've seen all Pharaoh's because all Pharaoh's are predatory. And my experience of the practice of the church is that the church is an arena for contestation between these two practices of justice.
