What Was It Like When Your Father Left the UK?
As a child you had a real passion for maths and science. By secondary school you decided to become a professor of some kind of fact. When you were just eight years old your father left his job on the island to come back to the UK. What were those years like for you without your father? It was quite a change. I still actually don't know what the story is. But there was a big falling out. That's what I understood. And so we had to really fend for ourselves. Your older brother, I gather left for the UK a few years later to look for your father. He did find him driving cabs in London.
