Nahama Rivlin's Story
Nahama rivlin was born in ten forty five on moshav erout, a place her parents helped start 18 years earlier. She and her sister varda grew up in the sole care of her mother, dora cala schoman who came to palestine from a town called billa zurka in the ukraine in 19 25. Drora shoman could declaim pushkin and other russian poets by heart. But she spoke only hebrew with nahama, who not long ago said how much he admired the people who came, in recent decades, from what was the soviet union,. becoming israelis without losing the culture
