To me though, it seems very hard then to get a jury to just totally shut themselves off from the world of social media because it's so part of all their lives. I think your point is well taken and that with the ubiquity of social media and algorithms you refer to, I think it's inevitable that there's some contact. Now, it's another question as to whether that affects the substantive outcome or affects the jurors as opposed to the evidence and the testimony that they were presented.
