The Paradox of the Liberal Arts
Brandon Newman saw that long long ago and I think it's still true. Business owners are hungry for graduates of classical and liberal arts schools because they tend to be people who can think critically, he says. He thinks there's a correlation between the loss of these liberal arts that deal with meaning and the fact that so many sadly of our young people are reporting spikes in anxiety or depression.
