The Importance of Making Friends

It's been almost 20 years since you first published a book about Israel. It prompted an enormous amount of controversy from what I can gather in Australia, where you live. Since writing that first book about Israel in 2006, you've gone on to write about all manner of things with far less professional and personal risk attached to them. Why have you decided to circle back to Israel in this book at this moment? There's so many reasons. But the simple background is I grew up in Melbourne, which is the second biggest city in the country. And I'm critical backing of Israel, demonization of Palestinians,. Palestinians have no right to equal rights.
