Nita always had criticism for socrates, but even if we look to his earliest writings, this criticism is accompanied by an acknowledgment of the first philosopher's greatness. In a section of that lecture where he specifically discusses the apology and socrates's voluntary death, nita does not discuss it as an example of life denial. He wanted death. Speaks before posterity. Grot says, death took him hence in full magnificence and glory.
