Hay: There are some skills that you can develop to communicate better. He says a board member who does such a good job at this might take the objection that they have, or the flaw that they're seeing and say something like, have you considered how you are going to deal with this issue? And then what's interesting is sometimes we might say, oh, actually, we thoght about that, and this is why we still think it's a good idea. Hay: It's a very, very hard thing, but you do get better at it with enough practice. You know, i've had to do things like this to remind myself.
