Is There a Point in the Story Where Margaret of Anjou Is Actually Captured?
There's a very famous story regarding margaret of anjou. In 14 64, we're told that she was fleeing to safety with her son when she became separated from her followers. She was ambushed by robbers who seized her goods and sheltered her for two days. Ds this hugely romantic story, and it sounds like a fairy tale. Well quite. I mean, the storica popularized during the victorian period. And although there are there is some mediaeval evidence for it, it's also not the only story where margaret ofanjou,. following a battle, was taken prisoner by the local so it's to the point where most modern historians tend to dismiss
