The MLC's Black Box
The Music Licensing Council has been doing some really interesting things in this area. At the start of 2021, as the MLC got rolling, it set up monthly payment cycles and a bunch of other tools for various stakeholders in the industry. By making all that data searchable, our members can now see all of the connections we were not able to make,. Because we give them the ability to propose matches to songs they registered, they have the ability to help solve those missing matches where the songs are songs they registered.
