I think if you look at it from the perspective of our history of systematic racism within criminal justice system, I think obviously it changes the way you think about it. Most people who are just guilty by association and you're hanging out with the wrong crowd is usually disenfranchised people. They didn't choose to be there or be a part of some culture. It was like there that was their way in. If that wasn't there, then maybe this method of criminal justice would work. But that's the issue is that in so many places, it's not fair. The justice system is not fair.
