Panpsychism
panpsychism is not a rival to physics, but an interpretation of it. For the panpsychist all we have are networks of very simple conscious entities. In virtue of their interactions, they realize certain mathematical structures. On the panpsychists view, all fundamental physics at the level ofconscious things is consciouse. Araledsen says that if physicalism doesn't say nature can be captured in physics then there's no reason why people shouldn't think otherwise.
