The Power of Data Washing Over You

A laser is fired at a nucleotide, an A or a T, that's been labeled with a fluorescent marker. And the machine is then effectively taking a picture and seeing that A or that C as a red flash. Every single flash you're seeing is an individual cluster of DNA strands emitting a particular red or green light.
