Anihu Yoshida's Democratic Liberal Party
Ikata, hito would eventually lose his job as vice minister when a new socialist government under kata yama tetsu took power. Yoshida gave him some pretty important jobs, including re designing the system of property taxes that would fund the post war government. At the suggestion of yoshida, shiger yoshida urged ikata to follow his own lead, leave the bureaucracy go into politics. In 19 forty nine, he was a candidate for his home prefecture of herotia a's second district. He ran as part of Anihu yoshida's own party, the confusingly named democratic liberal party - not to be confused with the later liberal democratic party
