Are You Going to Let Someone Go?
When the business slows down, when things don't go well, you have to lay people off. Every single employee who's let go is let go for one or two reasons. It's either a moral dilemma or a competency problem. In my opinion, most people are not go-getters. They're not 10 Xers. I'd say 5% of all human beings are 10 Xers and they drive profit inside of profit in an organization. And they are the ones that you need to find and hold on to.
