The Rare Moment of Perspective in the Pandemic
The pandemic in 2020 provided a rare moment when all the movement of goods and people shut down. This wasn't just whales, but that's all I write about here. It gave scientists an opportunity to like hear animal sounds with a lot of the background noise that is really overpowering. And so it maybe provided a brief moment of perspective on what was happening.
