I was involved with them by a strange series of connections, and was ultimately trying to write a story about them. I felt that they had been, ah, that they had gone through horrible, horrible, a adversity in order to believe in psychedelics for decades. They really did a fight for psychedelics at a time when very few other people were and they did. Do you ever feel that kind of bitterness? For me, there's like, i don't know how to put it.
