Is Octa Really a Bouncer?

A hacker group called lapsus has claimed to be responsible for the attack. It did so in an effort to access the systems of an octa client. The company can act as sort of like a bouncer, making sure that people who are trying to access those internal systems actually have the credentials saying they can do it. In israel, the national siber directorate says 66 thousand closed circuit television systems could be hacked relatively easily.
