The Effect of Knee Position on Knee Torsions in a Squat

The other question that we went over in that DPT lecture was letting your knees go over the toe. The question got brought up or we posed the question rather of who has heard that you should never let your knees go past your toes in a squat. By blocking knee travel, we direct more forces to the hip and therefore the lumbar spine. For individuals who may have some sheer intolerant or low back pain or some intolerance to that position might not be ideal.
